This problem is not CCONT or charging IC.Your phone has lost link near charging IC.It's resonse is water damage.If you have any picture of 2100 board I can help you with showing lost link place.

hi jus put a jump wire from + of battery termenal to an empty conection near R220 resis, that will solve the problem i have done it many times in 8210 is the same way also

I just made the jumper and all is OK.
