N95 Rear Casing Adhesive

also posted at hofo. need help asapppppp

hey, quick question. Well on the side where the 3.5mm headset jack is, the adhesive stickyness has worn off on the underside of that side. so i had to put paper in there so it wouldnt creak.

(under the paper, is where the adhesive tape wore off)
anyways, my question is, instead of buying a new rear casing could i just buy double sided adhesive tape and put it on? if i can, any advice on which one i should buy? this creaking is driving me nuts, and the paper makes the left side buldge out unevenly when i put it back on the phone.

(2) is how it should be, (3) is where i put the paper in, (1) is how the rear casing buldges out and makes the housing fit and look uneven. i need to know if i can do this adhesive tape job

hi
which paper you put at 3 , take out it....
not help you any adhesive tape, quick adhesive(instant adhesive) solution will help you but after that when you need to open it , you should broken it.....
but better way is that you must buy new casing.

i would but the housing is 50 dollars and my casing is still in pretty good condition, excluding the adhesive problem. Amit Tank, im having a bit of a problem understanding your post, so will adhesive tape work? I mean if i take out the paper and stick double sided adhesive tape where the old adhestive spots wore out, wouldnt it work?

could you use my picture to circle the places where i should? i dont want to ruin the phone by making a mistake. Quick question, if i use instant adhesive, wouldnt that ruin my housing? Like, would i still be able to take off the housing? Or if i try will it rip it up and ruin the phone?

onetime you stick with quick adhesive then you not use again , for open it you should breck it..
(adhesive drop at leftside(inner) where are open casing and press)
dear better is that you buy new casing....if you are expert for it you can do it easily, for onetime use...
