all these problem are not with softwares try to check that when the set hangs when you using phone beyond the capicity the set hangs, there is no way to work with nokia 2600 beyond the limit , the proccessing of your set became slow the data command from one ic to another ic transfer very slowly so try to make their route perfect,

by such as clean the board very nicely by dipping the board in the cleaner and reflow the total small smd's with antistatic soldering iron,

99% chances of ok
