try checking all emitting ligth diode and clean your phone board again.
try this now..........

try the other LCD... if same change the 1851 ic and the transformer... if same check the connections (use the multitester) check the continnuity of the connections...

depends on problem... not all signal problems isn`t same...

Wire solution u mean Jumper trick ?? replacing duplexer (antenna switch by wire isnt good repair) otherwise u will lost 1800mhz frequency. When u wanna hint to repair nokea 3310 signal, u must explain ur problem very well. coz there are too many parts in phone which can be damaged, and phone has no signal. (PA, COBBA, DUPLEXER, 1stVCO-crystal, Haggar, Filters...etc. even it can be broken track and so on.) Explain ur problem better. We will try to help you. Nokia 3310 signal problems aren`t same. U can not use only one solution to repair all without signal 3310`s.

!!!And jeerich please post nokia network problems to right section . !!!

Reflash IT, if water damaged clean it good in ultrasonic cleaner, if not work

Hi I have same problem on 3 3100's. Iv'e changed the 1851 and transformer but still same problem. The 1851 is same ic which is used on 6600 phones but I cannot find any relationship between the 2 phones.

Any other ideas pls??

btw 3100 had no liquid damage before, coil was s/c before replacing (good).

Fault must be in backlight trigerring section, that is, a broken track which sends signal to 1851 to switch on b/l.
