6100 insert sim!! - GSM-Forum

hello there i got here a 6100 that is always insert sim and i would like some help! phone is not water damage or so! any hints let me know! tks in advance!

you should check your phone sim card .if, not too big.
check . if, sim card is wet.
check .if, sim card is properly laying into contact with board .
check. sim card is corrosive or eract before now.
check . your phone for software application correction.

sim card is not wet
sim card is properly laying to contact board
sim card is not corrosive
sw of phone is ok!

of course i tested all this before doing the 1st post!!

change your emi filter, if cannot try to change a new uem

Follow the Picture to know how the Sim is recognized by system.
In your case the UEM, then the UPP (if after UEM not ok) >Resold or change the defective Parts.

I dont understand why VinH cant see the Pic.. try this out:

try to rehot sim card Ic ( a small sqare below sim card conector... helps very often)

Hi!! U are online.

Today I'm using another PC with XP SW. But nothing change I still only see "red x" in square. I don't known. 2 PC don't view ur pic.

Change the sim ic ( is made from glass and is next to sim reader ).

Rehot or change the SIM Ic's but if still you must change the UEM try to check the lines before you change the UEM
