3200 Insert Sim - GSM-Forum

Hi All

Can somebody here pls post the solution for 3230 "Insert Sim" urgently.

if you use " search buttom, you will found all bout insert simcard

try to make jumper like picture bellow:

Thank you guys for your reply. I have mistakenly posted for 3200 instead of 3230.I am very sorry for this.Could you guys please tell me how do I repair 3230 with insert sim problem . I have sceen the schematics but donot know how to open the SIM Card and MMC section from 3220 as It is schielded to the board.Please advise.

you must need to remove the sim&mmc holder to locate the sim i.c.,but it very difficult to remove that holder you must bcareful so sensitive holder if you reheat the plastic it will melt....
