3210 Charging fault - GSM-Forum

Hi guys ,please I have this problem. I pick up 3210 with charging fault.....Not Charging STOP!......I repaired this problem with changing resistor 47k (between bat. contacts) and resoldering bat. contacts. Wow 3210 now charging OK........but customer return this phone back with other fault. If bat. is discharged (cca 2,1V) phone is not able to charge bat ( I see on display blinking rows etc) If I connect batery direct to power supply for a while and then I put bat. back to the phone, chargink is OK. Do you have any idea how to fix this im****ibility of charging when batery is empty? thanx in advance regards Vicky

You have to recalibrate the power management with Wintesla my friend... or try to check ur switch on button..

ok for wt recalibration but if dont charge is probably fault charge ic . is bga ic next to ccont ic ,next antenna contact

I tried recalibrate energy management, but I see that I need service batery with power supply 10.5V Has anybody schematics of this service equipment for recalibrating energy management? thanks in advance

hi All!

I've reapired a lot of 3210 with charging fault .. i do this: 1- check with wintesla->ADC Readings if temperature is ok, if it's not (about -237°C) resolder the NTC besides the battery contacts. 2- with phone connected with wintesla on ADC Readings, insert the fast charger, and read the Battery voltage and charge voltage, if the bat.voltage remain the same or decrease, change N101 PSCC, if increase the phone is charging ok!
