3210 dead set Wahhhhh..... - GSM-Forum

i have a NOKIA 3210 unit and its not functioning.. it seems the SIM CONTROLLER IC below the Cyrstal in the Upper SIMSIDE has a crack, i was thingking if this is really the problem why the unit is dead.......

Id like to ask you guys how to fix this problem, and were i can buy gsm spare parts in the Philippines

Hi MacGYVER<br />The ccont ic (BGA)below clock xtal should be the problem....i've seen this many times.... <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

Cells r us is right MacGyver. You are right also having informed us of the crack. The IC you are referring to is the Power IC (CCONT). You havae to replace that. Do you have BGA toolkit for this purpose m8?
