3210 ringer problem.....


Hi .......
I have 3210 with ringer problem.
The pads of ringer are broken.
Tried to jump wire to user interface 5th pin on right side and other near speaker pad...... I have done jumping on 5th pin...... but the problem is that i cant do jumper near speaker pad,,it is not catching solder.

Plz help

Hello,

Dear Rahul,

Why dont u use FeviKvik to stuck ringer at its original position... after stuck u just need to make solder it.

one more thing, the correct pin from UI IC to be connected to the negative side of the buzzer should be pin 6 and not pin 5.

yeah, connect the negative terminal of the buzzer to the pin 6 of UI IC.

3210 ringer problem

+ve is coming direct from battery.

1) Check continuity from battry to ringer pad 1.
2) Check continuity from ringer pad 2 to UI IC leg No. 6. Nokia has common problem for this.
3) Check battery volt at UI leg 1.
4) Check 2.8V at UI leg 2.
5) Check 2.8V at UI leg 5 when 'Ringer Enable'.
