I have a Nokia 3310, and If I connect
to Rolis when I try Update FAID .. recive a messege :
"Bad COBBA signature.Probably new phone or bad COBBA soldering.

with Eeprom Tools by B-phreack v4.0
"Pointer not suported Hash table"

inside is really other type of COBBA .. sems like DSP from T28!

This is write on the chip

any ideea .. !? should I chage with a normal COBBA !?

This is normal COBBA, but not so often used.

Reflow, reball, and if it still doesn't work - change.

I changed .. twice ... with new COBBA

and the same !!

Load full flash again, correct IMEI and recalculate FAID.
If it still doesn't work, then probably FLASH IC or MAD faulty.

100% agree with johny3310...

I have few units with " bad signature in decoded MSID "...

D**n mad is broken....
