3310 black display? - GSM-Forum

Hi.
Yesterday I met Nokia 3310 when it power on it shows blank black display then nothing more. I tried to flash still same. Also it doesn't connect to m-bus connection to pc. Who know this pb?

problem is MAD or CCONT !

it is MAD

Just heat pcb componets between MAD and CCOUNT phone will work ok for some time
and u will can connect by mbus

if so scrape the board

Hmmmm, at 3310 :
V100, which is connect to XMIC and to work for "HOOKDET"
and it is use for AUDIO COBBA !

Change V100 can help ?

There is some link make LCD do not display or Mbus problem
eg: 3310

1: MAD
2: VBB from CCONT

Mbus has a Pull HIGH resistor R307 , pull high from VBB !
also VBB for N400 , and LCD need VBB too ......

run wintesla for self test before you remove MAD !
if wintesla can not fine phone , then check at R307 , R200 for VBB

if phone can not into normal mode, it must be VBB problem , replace CCONT first .

best way , use Wintesla to make selftest,, !
if it is not DSP alive fail, then try to make DEV reset !

m-bus communication
not work,
flashing is ok
i change cobba and ccont
even reballing MAD
only hagar i dont touch
and allways black screen
any idea?

Hi.
Make jumper near from cpu to display contacts. I can't say exactly from which point to ... Becuase it is too difficult for describe. You can find them working pcb with good multimeter. Wish you good luck.
