3310 signal ok only ~1-2h ?!? - GSM-Forum

what could be the problem with this phone ??

it came to me and didn`t had signal at all, so i resoldered all bga and had signal .. but after approx. 1 hour the signal was gone ..

i changed PA but problem remaines ..

i resoldered again and the signal came back .. but after ~1-2h was gone ..

very weird ...

Try to locate some BGA that becomes very hot after this period of time...... I think it must be changed.

Your problem must be VCO or 26 mhz crystal...

i removed ccont because it was heating .... but the network problem remained

Change 32KHz crystal. 100%......

The 32 khz crystal is B200 between the Ccont and COBBA IC, it is long in shape and most come in black color.

To check if it the source of the problem, yr phone must show hv the ff abnormality:

1. Slow Ring Tone.
2. Intermittent No Signal.

Any of the above is a sure sign that you hv a defective 32 khz clock crystal.

Try to warm COBBA. If after warmed signal is OK, faulty is inside COBBA. Change it !!!
