3595 To 3510 (dead) - GSM-Forum

hello
i v go to make a band conversation for a 3595 .i changed all of 3 fillters and the VCO and it all ok but when i reflached it on 3510i ..........fone is becoom DEAD .the fone took MCU +PPM flach without any error .

i try with many version of 3510i but no way

any one have experiance in this case...

reflash it again with 3595 for it to power. sometimes converting 3595 to 3510i depends on what ver your UPP is,..

how bout a converted 3595 to 3510i keypad malfuntioned after write PM??? is this a common error?do you think those keypad could still function correctly?tnx a lot...

check your flash ic i think its not amd 29bds643gt with 4s at the bottom if that's the case then you must reflash your phone with 3595 flash for the phone to power up when it powered up in local mode read pm file then convert it with pm to rpl converter by monxx (thanks boss monxx) by the after backing up pm and converting it to rpl replace flash ic with amd29bds643gt flash the phone mcu, ppm, write uem with the converted rpl and post here any problem

If you really want to downgrade it.. change the flash ic with 4s tag at the bottom..

To avoid keypad prob in 3510i or 3530 after flashing, use this PM tested by me 100%

to no avail....here is the history:...that unit 3530i was originally converted by chinese gurus.it runs smoothly after they converted it in 3510i.then few months later the RF sgnal starts to fade til 1 bar in isolated places.then my first solution is to write a brandnew PM.to my surprise the keypads *****!!! im just wondering where those chinese people got their invincible PM!!!!!!!

i am also having one problem after conversion.....i change three filters... and then i flash it with 3510i and write pm... but the problem is this that this is not detecting all networks... and one more thing that this is also losing signall.... and i have to rescan the network.. and then okay...
is there any soloutins left...
wot should i do....?

have you replaced the vco? for me i always convert 3595 to 3530 using the jumper method no i only put jumper on the filters and i do not replace the vco but in your case you should replace the vco with vco from 3530 try to replace it by the way converted units specially 3595 does not detect all networks because the conversion only uses single band (900mhz in 3595) to convert it to dual band is very tedious and time consuming but it can be done with some side effects
