3650 refuses to simlock after uem change - GSM-Forum

hi

i have a 3650 that was w/damage,the phone was dead

i changed uem n it came alive,i had 3blink problem,n solved when flashing combo pack

now anywyas phones is ok

BUT REFUSES TO UNLOCK
CAN SOME 1 tell me what to do next?i change uem3 x now

i have the same problem..

tried a few uems and a few 3650s but its just not unlocking.
done self tests using my prodigy and it passes on everything.

going to see a friend on friday who has a few difffernt flashers and get him to have a crack at it.

when you change the uem, does it say contact service afterwards?
sometimes you may have to imei rebuild the phone TWICE.
get 2 .rpl files

change uem with prodigy steps .

1- change uem ..and check if it power on the phone
2- don't make any step go to uem tools choose the right type
rebuild the imie and you must wait tell you see the phone info with the new imie
3-go to the prodigy software make as follow
3-1 unlock it
3-2 software upgrade
3-3 full factory setting

4- try the phone with simcard if not try to flash and do the the step 3 again
