5110, 6110 no tx? - GSM-Forum

I always have difficulty repairing these phones.. can somebody guide me on repairing tx power loss for these phones?

Types of problems:
1. only shows rx power..
2. it shows rx/tx but no tx output..
3. it shows rx/tx with signal bars but no incoming or outgoing calls can be made.. (software is 100% ok)
4. no rx no tx?

Appreciate your guidance

managed to fix and signal is regained.. but still tx power too low... any more suggestions?

Trafix,

it is no TX power or level too low !
do not know what type HW for your 5110 !
there is different HW use different PA !

and you might need to check power level control and TX DET
it is control by N620 plussa !

also you need to check at L554 till Z550 duplex !

Thanks for the reply willy, I'll try to check the following parts u've mentioned... yup tx power very low.. usually 1 bar... reception when connecting is good. I'm not good at electronics

I usually get these 5110 where signal is very weak...

I'll post here the results
