5110 charging problem - GSM-Forum

when i connect charger to 5110 - at display i will see battery bar, but after 2-3 seconds (when charge bar must start to going up) phone doing "BEEP" and power off.

In service manual i haven't chapter about charging.

May be any1 know where prob. can be ?

i was download service manual from these site - this manual haven't chapter about charging

, only scheme

problem not in CCONT and not in NMP70165 - changed, but prob not solved.

try checking battery terminals first
if its ok try changing the resistor with
a k letter found in the bottom of the pcb
near MAD

There a common problem with 5110 - you must take a look for damaged capacitor in charging circuit!

check V100 he must be >20KoHm when is <20 phone says beep and stop charging
