i have 5110 w/ earpice and mic not working, but i can use the headset. how can i make a jumper from the bottom of the board to the speaker and mic, which pin to connect or ic, thanks

EASY SOLUTION:

REMOVE BUFFER ( 5 LEGS ) IN FRONT OF HANDSFREE CONNECTOR,IT WILL FIX YOUR PROBLEM BUT YOUR HANDSFREE WONT WORK OR YOUR PHONE WONT CONNECT TO PC.

i have remove Headset connector and also replace 5 legs IC ( both of them) the problem still : "HEADSET".
I try to wash with thinner, still no result ....

Any help ??

hi eureka8888 and cellm@n..
first have a look at caps. and resistors around the board to board connector.and look if the connectors bent or dusty..after that look at the COBBA&MAD i.c. if there is opened pin of them..if they are all o.k.the pcb may be the reason...so follow the diagrams from service manual NSE_1..and solve the problem by connecting wire..

my problem solved by checking R256, R257 and also 261. . .
Traced it, and finnally problem found at C255 Short Circuit.

Test it to ur mobile .... may be have the same solution...

BTW, my mobile was WATER DAMAGE
