5110 not charging - GSM-Forum

Hallo,
i got 5110 with no charging message when try to charge. I tried fuse, and reheating ccont , but no help. ANy suggestion ?

There is charging fuse.
It's probably gone.
Try to locate it and replace it. If it can help you its the firs element connected to the charging pins.

thanks a lot, but as i wrote before, the fuse is ok - i changed it , i think there is other problem but donno which ....

have you tried to check battery terminal and charging i.c?

You must check a few thinks:
1. the four battery pins are ok and also soldered ok
2. near the fuse there is a 1uf/35v capacitor -replace it
3. there is also a vdr near there -replace it if short circui.

just take one WORKING board and multimeter and compare the resistance between them

and you will see that nothing can be easier, that repairing charging faults

It is fuse problem, don't change fuse but just try to make fuse + and fuse - connect.

where is fuse located ?

the 1/35V capacitor is probably short.

Check and post results.

Thanks all for helping me , finally it was bad soldering on charging ic and bad fuse .
