5210 force downgrade to 8250 - GSM-Forum

hello,

i got a 5210 with a defective hardware flashrom (Phone Ram Bad),i reball it and it still Phone Ram Bad. Unfortunately, i ran out of 5210 flashrom and was forced to use 8210/8250 flashrom as substitute. After replace and flashing it w/ 8250 flashfile, it works (incoming/outgoing calls/sms works fine) except that display is reversed (and all other 5210 features are lost)

is there a hardware solution/software solution for this reversed display?

i wish i could use 8210/8250 flashrom because it is more durable compared to 5210 h.w. flashrom, which easily gets damaged/defective (Through repair experience in 5210).

you have to do is replace a good flash rom

try to load firmware for 2100 !!

it works but 2100 is much higher resolution and display aint reversed,you can see 2100 display partially. gonna try 2100 lcd hope this works

i've encountered reversed lcd in 7110, although this one is an accident, display was flipped same w/ the post i mentioned. maybe it has something to do w/ the hardware coz the lcd 'contact' aint 'properly' connected, still working at it how to 'reverse' it again coz only happened once
