5510 work only 10 seconds after power on


I have one 5510 without any hardware faults not water damage

When I power on it without simcard it works 10 seconds display Insert SIM and then power off

Same with simcard

WHAT'S THIS ?????????????????

Search the forum, there are old post concerning this problem. I think that some people fixed this problem flashing EXT UI board with newer version. The link for flashing soft is also in old posts.

I think that it is a problem like 7650 with full memory
because
i flash new eeprom and full flash package 3.53

Its not a problem in MCU+PPM+EEPROM...

Its a problem in MP3 DSP section..
U need to flash your DSP

Use EXT_UI board 2.0
Try this if you have a working FBUS cable. I hope it can help as 100% tested by me.

Cable modification:
Cable rx -> phone tx
Cable tx -> phone rx
Cable GND -> phone GND

And Run ext_ui board 2.0

After Step 1 (selecting ini & data file)
Phone must be Off.
- Now Connect Charger (Fast charger is advisable)
- Don't Power On the Phone (phone will boot and only battery bar indicator will appear)
- Then proceed clicking the Step 2 Button (11 min and 30secs approximately)
- Step 3
