5800 short


Got one nokia 5800 dead.
Its positive and negative point of battery connector are short........
board is clean..... no water damage.

Anybody has its short analysis/solution?????????

plz share.

at first remove the rfpa means pa fuse.if not then remove the pm ic avilma.

1.dismantle the phone,
2.put the required voltage on the phone
3.using you finger feel all the parts of phone where was the high temp.
4. two hints focus on avilma (power ic) , P.A. and betty ic (charging i.c)

u give a good sollution.but if your board is full short then in this case u must optimige your ampier in your power supply.

Remove C2071(yellow 150uF/6.3v capcitor near battery connector) and check again(phone could power on without it)...you'll be surprised

i have prob both dead and short 5800 i heated power ic and charging ic but not work pa is also ok but phone not switching i also apply jumper of power on but no response so what i do next
