5800 Shortcut key light always on

I have red Nokia 5800 the Shortcut key light next to the XpressMusic text on the top right of the phone remained on even after taking the battery out and putting it back in, i have changed front camra light flex but the problem remains.

I had this problem of the led light on the express music shortcut button always staying on. (The top right hand corner XM button on screen)
Symptoms:-
Light would sometimes come on and stay on when the battery was first inserted-before switching the phone on. Light would always stay on and even stayed on after switching phone off. It would only go out if battery died. Sometimes after removing and putting battery back, light would not come on at first but problem always back when phone was switched on. All other buttons and screen lights,dimming and buttons behaviours was normal.

(I put a new camera flex cable assembly in and problem was still there.)

How it was solved: -

Diassemble handset completely, have only the front camera cable flex connected to pcb - Nothing else connected
Insert battery - (light should not come on already)
Switch phone on, light should operate as normal after phone starts. use lock or power button to test if working. (if not problem may be N2422 or N2420 ic)
Pull battery out and plug in Lcd Screen and digitizer. Put Battery back in and start phone. (If light problem comes back then fault is prob power Ic)
If problem has gone then the fault must be in the lower keypad button.

When the phone is switched on and top light is off, plug the lower send/menu/end button flex cable into pcb, light may stay off at first but problem will come back first time the top light is triggered. Problem was caused by a very small shorting of the red end button. It was not enough of a short to operate the button but was enough to trigger the ic n2420 that controls the n2422 which powers the v Led_xpress light. To prove it, I removed the top layer of the buttons and cleaned inside, plugged back in and problem gone. Tested operation of buttons by shorting with tweezers and no problem, stuck buttons back together and tested all ok problem solved. This was a water damaged phone so water damaged lower button flex. Also the n2422 ic is very close to usb socket so could get wet.

Nokia schematics N2422 = Tps75105yffr 2 bank led driver with pwn brightness control this only controls the express music button led
Nokia schematics N2420 = LP5521tmx_NOPB Programmable 3 channel led driver. THis controls the other 3 leds in lower buttons and each are on there own channels so if problems with 1 or 2 buttons lighting then will be this ic if flex cable is ok.
