6100 works on test jig only ...!!!


I have nokia 6100 does not power on , but when i put it in the test hig it works without any problem ...., when put it back to its case then no power ...!!!! , What colud be the problem ...? what shall i check ...?

fix in orginal casing some times power switch is not working properly check the voltages on borad when ur fix.

Your case have problem....check if the PCB is ok.....try to reflow UEM and CPU.

probably it`s more simple that you think

Did you try to power on the phone on wires while in chasis?Yes-you need a resistor between tne GND pin and the BSI,I think that a 10K will do the job.If the phone turns on-probably the battery pins are the problem,especially teh middle one.Try to stick them out but not to beak them.If it not turns on-try re-heating or reballing the UEM and/or the CPU.
Sincerly I think that you don`t have to heat anything...
