Is the phone working apart from the white screen? ie can you make/receive calls or use the phone functions. Normally this problem is the flex cable or LCD.

I have the same problem... but I found the reason of the fault.
The problem is broken µBGA filter next to LCD connector signed Z2501.

Does anybody know which board has the same type of this BGA??

Thanx, BR.

I have a similar problem with a Nokia 6111. The phone works fine (ie, calling in/out), but only a white display).

hi all
kubik's solution is the best the one with pic i solved the problem, since this fone is made as samsung desine so we all think it's the flex cable i thought that too.but the flex cable used in this fone is 100 times better then the one in samsung but still we think it's the cable fault any way we have to remember that nokia always uses the ICs to control LCDs in newer models so before changing the cable (to save the time) we must check the ICs and BGA filters wich is used in 7610 too thanks to kubik
best regards
