6210 hanging and switch off - GSM-Forum

Hi!!!

I have a problem with this phone, after power on phone work perfect but if i press any key phone is resetting or hanging (only wenn i press key). What's a problem???

Sorry for my bad english and thanks for help.

It is either...

1. Water damage,
2. The softwaare needs upgrading.

Open your phone and have a look for any blue marks on the PCB.... if there is any kind of water damage
or blue mould, you can try repiring it in a Ultra Sonic Bath (PCB Cleaner) if you know anyone with one.
If there is no damage there, try upgrading the softwar on it (latest version v5.56).

Or if you cant be arsed to mess around with it send it to me or take it to a local phone shop and ask them.

Thanks for reply. My phone is not water damage and i test it with all soft for 6210 an 6250. This is hardware problem.
I forget yet add that this phone loss network.

buddy just change the rubber on/off rubbad pad--

tested 100% work--

Hi pdm64. I had the same problem with a 6210 some weeks ago. The problem was that the power button was constantly pressed and obstructed by the case, and when I touched any key phone restarted.
Take a look to see if it could be by that.

MAN ITS NOT THE POWER SWITCH-- JSUT THE RUBBER PAD WHICH TOUCHES THE ON/OFF SWITH- TRY TO CHANGE THAT OR IT SHOULD NOT TOUCH DIRECTLY TO THE SWITCH--

Thanks for reply but this is not rubber. Phone is death now i can't power on and i can't flash it but wddog is working.

hi pdm64,
i think ali mola and pk2gsm are right. if is not results u can try to resoldering flash, ccont, cobba in this order. try the computer conection after each step

I think what vlinkers said is solution for presseing any key and phone is off

the problem is Phone HANGING AND RESETING

I think u should try Rehot FLASH AND RAM or replace them

It works for me 100%

You have good idea,, i agree with you !

Most is RAM have connect problem, so phone can not write or re-new data in RAM area , it become wrong data read/write in RAM, and make it hung !

i think, this phone was fall down ..

Thanks for all this is the flash ic but i don't have a hardware to repair it.
