Clean mic contacts in bottom connector, resolder bottom connector. Dirty contacts on the bottom connector can cause mic problems.

Then try to rehot / reball / change COBBA.

Me too experienced that problem with 6210, however it shouldn`t be caused by updating the software i think. If it is software failure then it would be easily repairable. I had two 6210
in last 3 weeks and both had the same problem - the person I was talking to sometimes heared cca. 1-2 seconds interruptions in speech. Since it looks quite usual failure with 6210, I doubt microphone is the cause. Please anyone has(and someone surely has) an useful info on that problem mail to gsm-forum.
Thanx in advance

Well first of all to eleminate each problem 1slly,use hand free kit
to be sure it is not the internal mic.
If you found it the internal Mic problem, and as u change the cobba
try to change the Bias curent transistor V231 and check its path.
Withe new cobba and the same problem in the internal + external
Mics, that means that it is not an audio problem, so we can turn
to the RF section.
