Member: 10854 Status: Offline Sonork: 1578988 Thanks Meter: 3 | 6210 stupid problem Spent 2 days and still moving in circles... Received phone tottaly dead with " phone ram is bad "... I've changed flash, write good firmware and eeprom, etc... NOw phone works fine untill key 8 is pressed. No matter how slightly i press it, phone just restarts or hangs up... Any other key works fine... I have changed other 2 flash chips, ccont,V450, 26MHz, 32768kHz, and hagar and still same...Rehot cpu thru board, still same... Even bigger problem is i have 20-30 pcs with same fault... BR Vule |

If it is RAM or FLASH problem, all keys on some COL or ROW would be affected... but again .... 20-30 pcs .... it is very strange! | |

Member: 10854 Status: Offline Sonork: 1578988 Thanks Meter: 3 | @fludor: If flash chip is shortcircuited or u have overload on data/adress lines then flasher will report bad ram...Take it off and u have flash id unknown 00000000 error.... @ rest: thanks for answers guys.... I have suspicion on mad2 so i changed it... Same thing..... Maybe it could be damage in PCB ( row and col lines )... BUt why only key 8??? Logically, if mad is broken whole row or col of keypad will hang or restart phone... Anyway i still playing with those phones.... I forgot to say, all phones i receive are NMP rejects...:-) BR Vule P.S. Anyone ever seen 6210 ( or any other nokia ) powering up without hagar ( just leds, no display no flashing ) ??? I was amazed when i discovered this phone without hagar inside...It powers up leds and after 30sec they go off...Just leds nothing else working of course...Funny  |
