6230i no ringtone after taking a bath - GSM-Forum

Hi

After taking a bath, my 6230i doesn´t ring anymore. Further, no sounds, mp3 can be heard from the speaker. Phone beside these problems is working fine. When making a call or receiving a call phone works also well. I´ve cleaned the board with alcohol and flashed with new firmware. Any ideas?

it doesn"t make sense, normarly mp3 cant hear from the spk, mp3 will just sound from buzzer. i think ur problem maybe is buzzer slow ,try to change a buzzer b4 u do pcb

it doesn"t make sense, normarly mp3 cant hear from the spk, mp3 will just sound from buzzer. i think ur problem maybe is buzzer slow ,try to change a buzzer b4 u do pcb

If buzzer is Ok, Reheat IC near Batt. terminal(negative polarity)...I encounterd prob like that.
