6233 Won't charge in car kit - GSM-Forum

Hi everyone,

Anybody know the solution for a 6233 that won't charge in carkit? It charges normally with the DC jack and has the latest software.

When connected to the wired carkit the Car symbol appears and all audio is routed through the kit as it should be....

Any help would be appreciated.

If you are sure of your carkit then check the pop port + charge terminal; may be it need to be cleaned or it's unsoldered or damaged.

The car kit works fine with other 6233 phones. The system connector is clean and joints are good.
