6260 sim ic replace


i have a6260 insert sim card .can sombody show be the exact way to remove the mmc socket below which the sim ic is there.....

The best tool to do this is IR rework station... I was made few pcs using ERSA IR500 as well.

Dear my brother. The 6260 sim ic, same 6100 sim ic. All nokia dct4 sim ic same. If you remove mmc socket, you can see it.

remove it one side at a time ... so that the sim socket woudnt damage... you can use hot air with small nossils or solder... then replace or jump sim driver..
