6280 screen backlight problem - GSM-Forum

i purchased a 6280 no more than 3 weeks ago and 1 week ago the screen backlight started flickering, now the light has turned off completely.

-does anyone know what the problem is?,
-how it can be fixed?,
-is it worth just buying a 6288?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

The most common problem with 6280 is Flex Cable, check Flex Mate.

this is a common pro, try chanching the filter next to the display connector.

change flex cable use oreginal cable problem is solve.

by the way, when you say flex cable, check flex mate.. what does that mean? i have absolutely no idea.

I have the same problem, i swap main board to a woking phone but LCD still no light any one can help

the ui board contain emi filter for led illumination .
