6300 Mic ic bypas needed

Hi,

Today we open a 6300 after customer say the microphone did not owrk after he replaced front housing.

We notice a small 4-leg chip missing from front bottom of pcb just below keypad and this is the cause of the mic not working because we fitted chip from another 6300 and mic is now working.

Is there any bypass for this missing component or do we have to replace this part to get mic working again?

WBR

Hi I tried this but now the mic is very very quiet. Is it a bd connection or is it because this piece is missing? (maybe this piece is an amplifier?)

Thanks

Thanks but 2 questions:
1. Did you have the same problem or is this generic solution?
2. I dont understand from the jpg or pdf what i need to do? Where are the jumpers indicated?
