my 6610 shows contact service - GSM-Forum

i tried sp unlock with griffin successfull
but phone is contact service
also today with version 2.02 tested self test
all test passed
and i seen that product code second last digit is diffrent from original one
repaired product code still phone is contact service

how to repair

any clue
also after self test phone shows insert sim but there is no network
i cant make emergancy call

HI m8...

For repair contact service put phone in test mode & then press unlock buttom in griffin thats all.

doesnt work on my side....and can i manually put the phone in test mode?

problem with 6610 contact service "solved"..... i think you cannot PUT the phone in test mode...as to my understanding....

try to rebuild the IMEI twice...

Put the UNIT in LOCAL MODE First and click "UNLOCK"... thats it... try it first to software solution...if not ENGINEER's solutions will be the option...

sometime you cannot remove contact service on the phone even after using griffin so u should first clean the phone pcb, then unlock phone with griffin ......
that occured to me once..

upgrade your software first, unlock the phone again, if the phone was working 100% befor unlock do not try to open the phone and clean...etc. its a software problem.

you can try to relock the phone to any network you want and unlock again.
