6310i LCD module

Hi,

I've got an LCD module in a 6310i where about 5 horizontal rows in the middle of the display are missing (LCD test with Prodigy). I guess the contact strip between the plastic cover and the LCD glass is broken or at least dirty.

Is it possible to remove the plastic cover from the LCD body to clean the contact strip without destroying the LCD?

Thanks,
Ladi

Thank you for this great reply,
way above the right hand battery pins are about 5 small components, the 2 small resistors are most of the time shorting and not linked to the lcs lines on the pcb. pin 2 esp links to the resistor and now

100% WORKING !!!

thanks bro, wbr
