6310i Signal problem - GSM-Forum

i have a 6310i with a wierd signal problem. I have tried my t-mobile simcard and there is no signal. but when i do a manual search of the available networks only orange comes up. i don't have an orange uk simcard to test it. how can i make it work on all networks ?

use the dct 4 calc to unlock it, it looks like its sim locked to orange

You have a hardware problem. Most properly its a broken Antenna swicth according to your description of the fault.

If the phone cannot find your T-mobile network in manual search it means that the antenna swicth only finds network on one band (900 or 1800/1900 MHZ)

Either change it or take it to somebody who can.

I have another 6310i with signal problem ..... i get all the networks on the manual search but no access to the simcard network .... any solution to that ?

Well in this case the phone finds all networks -> means Antenna swicth is ok.

This particular fault is your PA (Power Amplifier) which have to be changed.

Am I right when I say that when you select the network it gives you the error "Access Denied" ? If so, then it's the PA 100%

Hi everyone,

I have a 6310i which worked only on a specific network in Nigeria. Then I flashed it and now it no longer can detect any network. I flashed it with version 5.52
