i recive a nokia 6600 keypad are not work and also joystick i remove the keypad ic then i see the lower ic 2 print are damage any idea what can i do i also change the keypad ic but problem is still

change flex first bro. thats can solve your problem....

i think you may find a repair guide just because of ic2 is damage....try this link bro. install the nokia hard library on your pc and find the solution there.

Upper ic = Connector Pin

1. Gnd
2. 3, 6, 9, #
3. 1, 4, 7, ABC
4. Call, 4, 5, 6
5. Clr, ABC,*, #
6. +v led
7. Right soft key
8. Menu, Left, Soft key
9. Joystick (Right)
10. Joystick (Left)

Lower ic = Connector pin

11. Joystick (center)
12. Joystick (down)
13. Joystick (Up)
14. Left soft key, Right soft key
15. Gnd
16. 1,2,3,0
17. End call, 7, 8, 9
18. Menu
19. 2, 5, 8,*
20. Call, End call, Clr, 0

ic connect in1(i1) to out1(o1)

5 4 3 2 1
i7 gd gd i3 x A
i9 gd gd i5 i1 B
i10 i8 i6 i4 i2 C
o9 o7 o5 o3 o1 D
o10 o8 o6 o4 o2 E

you can short I1 -->O1
I2-->O2
I3-->O3
I1 from cpu and O1 is connected to key board connect
