6600 restarts (white screen after change UEM) - GSM-Forum

Hi

I have changed UEM in 6600 and now after power on - only white screen and shutdown after 2 seconds.

Flashing is ok.

What to do?

Try to Heat little bit more on UEM. If not remains power on It means UEM is faulty, To check wether UEM is good, Power on the phone it should not switch off within 45 Seconds it should remain on. If phone switches off then UEM is Faulty.

First u just Heat it and try to flash a *.rpl file. then tell what happened

I have already probramed the UEM with the RPL file, but after the checksum there was a error that the phone connot go into Local Mode (on Twister) .... so is there any possibility that the phone shut down, becaus there is a other imei in flash as in the UEM?

But on "check" it shows that imei whit them I have programed the UEM

If u have replaced the UEM doubt go to UEM, Have u tried to erase full flash Then write Mcu Ppm and if it dose not solve thye problem try to flash only ppm. what dose it says tell me. But first Erase full flash and write it.

Repaired with Twister Flasher:

1. Erase the flash from adress 0000000 to 07FFFFF (or use erase files on griffin)
2. Flash it with latest software
3. Write PM for 6600
4. Make Format User Area
5. Make Reset Full Factory Defaults
6. Unlock phone

That was that I have done ....
