6600 white screen problem - GSM-Forum

hi there and good work

now i have an 6600 that is not effected with liquid or any other think and also never opened before.

for a need i have to change the uem. i have desolve the uem from the board very clearly and the pins of the uem at the board is ok and clean.

then i have put the new and the working uem to the board.

when i pressed the on off switch the phone is opening and gets white screen
no nokia image appears and not closing from the on off switch.

does any one have an idea about this failure. the phone is with me more than 4 days. it is a very urgent topic for me.

i have those boxes and the failures that i have taken is below
universal box
jaf (chk error)
ufs3 (platfor 6 error)
griffin (slow pc error)

i have try to wash chemical. but now i retryed it

still same problem.

also same error in jaf

1st check the zokus ic u must make sure the zokus ic is good,then use file Full Erase,after full erase try 2 upgrade with new version if show NOKIA do write PM and write rpl file(because as u say u have 2 change the new UEM)!!! good look

hi,
i have faced same problem with 6600 some days ago i flashed phone but when i power on d phone it hangs on white screen then someone told me to reball d processor i opend d processor and reballed it and it worked if u wish u can try
regards but in my case i didnt saw nokia written on screen it was totally white

can any one explain me that wtah is zocus ic and d processor

is d processor means that the main processor
?

bro the zokus ic is behind the connector battery(the black one)Good luck
