6600 white screen and shutdown after 33s - GSM-Forum

This phone had display problems, after replacing display filter IC it worked.
But it has another problem, 33s after keypad lights go on during startup (when Nokia flashes), display goes white and phone goes off. You think it's UEM problem? Same thing happens if I remove display filter IC, phone goes off after 33s.
By the way, IMEI is ok and phone works fine, but only for ~30s

hey man try this full erase 6600 flash mcu+ppm+cnt128+unlock after flash and ui setting also try to format user area works 100% for me also try this on to manual format phone (send key+*+3+power on )

in our experience it is due to current sense monitor ic Z304

There's no Z304 in 6600 service manual, have you mistaken it with some other component?

or ur problem with cpu

If your phone go off after 30s ,the reasn is UEM.But befor change it try to make a rpl of this uem and write it to that.If this could't solve your problem then you should change the UEM IC

is UEM problem.. based on experiene its the same problem with 2300,1100, and 6230. you can retain your imei after changing UEM but dont chane it first.. use JAF imei tool to save your imei and ask file then you can change it..

so whats solution we are waiting i dont think it need to change uem maybe if you read full pm using ufs then convert it to rpl using pmtorpl then instale rpl to phone then try and post replay
