That’s the process for flashing… if flashing is ok and phone is stil dead maybe sme hardware problem. Check Power Switch.

I had -out of chip bound message with 7210, and fixed just with latest sw version. No needed touch hardware.

@KRIZA
I didn't say i fixed it. I had phone which couldnt turn on. Friend was ************ed it with some older dct4 box. I tryed a couple times to flash it with different sw version and I had that message during flashing.

After downloading and flashing newest software (NHL4 v.5.52) everything was ok.

Hi! I had the same problem with one 3100. It was version 5.02 and I downgrade it to ver. 3.10. result "Phone dead". I tried to flash the phone with Tornado...but no result. I resolve the problem with Prodigy. After the MCU writing just boot the phone manual by pressing the ON/OFF button, and the process of writing the Content Pack is starting. This operation must be done verry quick. The same step must be done when the Content Pack is finish or start to flash PPM only. This solution worked for me 100%.

Regards,

Claudiu.

PS: Please escuse my english.
