try to use 304v zenor doide from +ve point of the battery connector to +VE point of charging conector............

try replacing your fuseble resistor and charging ic which are situated next to your battery connector be careful when heating the plastic of the bat connector burns easily

can you show us a picture how to make the zener between the battery and + ve of charging and from where to bring the zener
