6610 volume switches removed - GSM-Forum

hi mates does anyone have any solution to volume switches that have been removed along with the copper pads .....Yesterday a customer brought this phone in ,he asked me to solder back his old switch(volume up) ...But when I opened the phone the copper pads were also missing now I need a way of wiring the volume + switch so that he can have the ability to increase speaker volume to his comfort.......

COULD ANYBODY HELP....PLEASE URGENT

U have to download a schematic and connect a jumper bridge between the keypad's socket and the Vol up sw . NB. ; the 2 sws have a commone connection so U can connect the other connection to the other sw ( Vol Dn ).
Like that of 8310 connections in the attatched Picture.

hi.. even though this thread is lil old.. but still it saved one of this customers dying phone.. customer really appricated the Medz suggestion..
