6610i display problem - GSM-Forum

In one 6610i shows a peculiar problem. whenever the battery is inserted, a blue light is automatically lit on LCD but the phone does no go on. when power switch is on the phone goes on every operation of set is running ok, but from then on Display light is continuously on and does not go off.

I have thoroughly wased and cleaned the set.

any solution anybody?

dear ,looke like water damage,,check,light ic sevtion,.quail,,and 8 leg ic,,also clean all pcb ,,post result

i think the unit is still shorted, soaked the pcb board thouroughlly to lacquer thinner for about 5 minutes then clean it bu using toothbrush, then use hot air to dry it
