6630 dead & hot - GSM-Forum

Hi,
I have a customer with 6630 Dead & i found out the IC with number 0450/D012JU5 is getting Hot when battery is inserted.
Ask him what happing, but he was claiming just shutdown in his pocket.
What is the problem & Action to be taking?

if the ic is getting hot then just change it with good one .

yes man just change and check that it is short or not

Right,If IC very hot ,it fail .U can change it ....good
