6670 very strange keypad problem needed help - GSM-Forum

6670 comes to me for the problem keys 2,5 and 8 are sometimes not working

I reflowed the keypad ics and it is worked fine.But after 5 to 6hours again the same keys are not working.So i changed the both keypad ics result when we press the key 6 one time,6 or 7 times 6 number was typed on the display

Then i again changed another keypad ic after that the key 6 is not working there after????

I checked also the keypad plate.

4 keypad ics also waste???

Where it will be the problem???

When u are sure that the keypad, keypad connector and the keypad IC's are OK, then before reheating the UPP take a look at the capacitor on the left of the UPP which are connected between UPP and keypad IC's. After that UPP is the only remaining reason for that problem.

But before this, take again a look at those parts: keypad, connector and IC

thk u for u r reply.Can u pls give me the picture for (capacitor on the left of the UPP which are connected between UPP and keypad IC's.)

OK mate, look at r110-r111-r112-r113-r114-r115 in picture. Reheat those. After that UPP should be faulty. good luck
