6680 boot up problem!!!!!!!!!! :( - GSM-Forum

hi guys! i bought a nokia 6680 from grey market 10 days back. Everything was working fine until this afternoon when suddenly whenever i try to switch on the cell, the nokia logo ("NOKIA") comes and then the phone restarts again!!!! not able to switch off the cell also....... have to remove the battery for that.......y is the phone not booting up??????????

Can any body tell me what the problem is and what are the possible solutions. i m a complete newbie and expect help from you stalwarts!!!!!!!!!!!

U Have To Just Format The Phone With Cable In Any Good Software That Support Bb5 Platform

take the phone to a gsm service point ... they'll repair for you !

Hard reset the phone.

With the phone switched off do the following:

Press keypad 3 and * and Green and power it on
Keep all 4 buttons pressed (including power on)

Do this with a fully charged battery

easy solution is:

take out MMC card first
than power it ON again,
I have 6630 with this problem, and solved with this trick.
It must have something wrong with e:\system
