7110 dead but charging - GSM-Forum

I've got a 7110 that charges but does not switch on, I don't know what the problem is and the leds do not light up, can somebody please help me?

if you can see that charging battery meter running , then that you phone just on CCONT to power on switch path problem !

Black-Axe. When a phone is charging while off, it is in fact turned on. It enters a state called "acting dead" Like willy said, its probably just not getting the power-switch signal to turn on

BTW, try changing the LCD. The switch is on the LCD assembly, and ive seen a few 7110's with faulty LCD frames. The power switch is on a flexible circuit board.

If you have "simple" connector, you can power it on using software - just connect charger and press restart phone on any soft - and your phone will power on. So you can check is your PW switch working or not.(You will try to power off)
