7210 No Lights - GSM-Forum

hi
i hav 7210 with broken lcd jack,isold jumpers and display is ok now but thr is no light in keypad n display.plz explain me why? or attach a image related this fault thanx in advance.

Here is an image of lights drivers in nokia 6610/7210 , includes the keypad socket tracking .
Check the tracks U made ,also check if makes short to it with ground , if all is good , check the pathway components with a mutimeeter , if every thing is OK replace the IC it self (N300).

try to replace the lcd first, if its the same it has a prob from coil for lights...

HI
you must make this problem step by step : 1. measure +13.5V on V300 this volt used for lighting the LCD .if not found check V300-V301 (zener diode) L300. measure 4v at pin 1. replace N300. if all is replace UEM . 2. if there is +13.5 on V300 check the connector X302 and tracks or replace it . replace the LCD . if all is good replace UPP . you can see the diagram to help you .
