7210 sinal problem - GSM-Forum

Hi, i have a 7210 with no signal, try manualy but nothing find, change ant switch, vco and 26mhz crystal but nothing works.
i see at the display only a envelope that i have a new sms, charching is good, ringtones to but no signal, phone is 2 weeks old.

Try to rehot UPP(CPU) on 300 degres about 15 minutes,but from long distance about 3-4 cm.I have once problem with 7250 and i solved it on this way.

300 degres about 15 minutes, what do you think from the other side of pcb, there are many parts too and i think that they falling off

No,thay don't falling off,but u rehot pcb from the UEM side ,not other side.Use air flow control and put it on 2

Allright i try, one problem, i use not a hotair station butt a portasol superpro , can i do it with this one too

I doin't know what is portasol superpro ? Can you explane what that is?

i did 15 min and the same problem, if i change upp can i take it from an other 7210 or must i buy a new one?

guess what??
onthe other side is the syntesyzer hagar, helga.....what ever. Try to reflow that for 3 mins.....u might be surprised..oh, i've forgot-use some flux

i do what you say but same problem, i think phone is water dammeged

if u can see marks of water damage, then is more complicated, depends which area has marks of water damage, u should reball the Ic near that are water damaged.

I still recomend to stay on helga area, if posible to change it
