3310 Just insert battery and it powers on - GSM-Forum

I have a 3310 Water dammage and No power : Connect to rolis flasher and it says swich mobile off .

Clened water and rehot pcb, now phone contact service (mcu) but the problem is the phgone goes on automatically after insert battery.

Under BGA shorts but I need your advice please.

just clean pcb well , change power sw. it will gonna be ok....

@keke..

In water deffects causes are hazard as U know , I think it could be some residuals under the ccont from the water , a triguer to the power on control pin with up to 50kohm to ground , makes that signe.
Try to reflow ccont ,the flow of the flux with hotgun under it cleans pins ,try it with a good luck.

clean the pcb with ultrasonic cleaner try if u dont succed.flash it with good flash file.
still if u dont succed remove all the ic except cpu & refix & try.good luck.

pls i need some assistance i need guide on to replace bga IC ;to make d phone power-on .

if u r using new ic its ready to fix only thing u have do is remove the old ic clean the pcb remove extra solder lead from pcb apply little liquid flux on pcb where u fix the ic then place the ic correctly & use hot airgun use right nozzel keep the temp at 250-270 deg, air at 3 to 4. (this setting vary from each instrument depends on which use u have get tuned to it by practice).and flow the hot air 30-60seconds.clean the pcb dry it switch on

flash d phone,then uudate FAID,UNLOCK,WRITE NEW IMEI.it should be ok

this is too far , please make sure what is topic and then make correct answer !

power on by it self..
try to review BTEMP line , or check R224 both side to look is it short to gnd, or remove ccont, and check the pin "E4" is it short to gnd , or check keypad "3" center , is it short to gnd, or check C400, remove it for test it !

mate if the phone powers on itself and after u press keys it goes off, it is a switch problem, change it. the swith has bridged up..

mr willy,i respect u,that u should know that there are different faulty and some times d solution may seem very funny or stupid.but to me there is no harm in trying.The other guy (sorry i forgot d name) said it is d power stiwch.i can bet u that if he rempve d swtich,the phone will still power without d switch.so if u think my suggestion is wrong ,i dont know what to say.This b/cos i have just solve a problem like that 2wks ago.
